A recent report by The National Foundation of Youth Music confirms that years of inadequate funding combined with the cessation of student grants have resulted in a serious situation confronting the future of music training in this country.

Existing charities principally offer  money loans to post-graduate musicians as they attempt to enter the profession. The work they do is obviously crucial but it was presumed that they were not lending to a young person already encumbered with a very large student debt. The Cherubim Music Trust was founded in 2001 to raise funds to help remedy this situation. For more information visit www.cherubimtrust.org
